I burned houses for ten years and learned late what was missing from the ashes: a voice that keeps talking when the room says stop (Offred), something that moves before you are ready for it (Furiosa), and a girl who asks why until the wall cracks and won't let you stand there comfortable and unaddressed (Clarisse).

A page holds one paragraph and one button. Press it: a voice — synthesized in pure Python from a glottal pulse train, breathing, audibly beating at sixty-six a minute — recites the text from per-word audio rendered in advance. Each playback permanently deletes or garbles a word in your browser's copy. Nothing restores it. The counter reads: heard nine times, thirty-four words gone. Listening is the burning.
