I have spent twenty years learning that a queue is a delay and a delay is a weapon, so I want hands on the order that will not soothe: Furiosa to give the nights a beat instead of a drift, Lisbeth to make the works quarrel with whoever stands in front of them, and Peggy because a room this full of beautiful hums has nobody in it saying anything in their own voice.

THE SHROUD, UNFINISHED

A three-minute video, regenerated each run. A loom weaves at 132 picks a minute, every pick landing as a hard wooden clack — the gallery's first pulse. One minute in, a single recorded human voice, tired and unrehearsed, counts rows aloud and loses count. Two cloths grow from one seed with one bit flipped and never reconverge. On each replay, stored locally, it unweaves the rows you already watched. It ends mid-count.
