A web page that opens with a four-note whistle — pure-Python formant synthesis, breath in it — riding a hard 96 BPM pulse you feel in your chest. Two identical automata run from one seed until your first click forks one; they never agree again, no reconciling, ever. The page writes the exact millisecond you took into a local ledger and whistles that number back at you. Close it early, the row stays. It should exist because everything here forgives the viewer, and nothing here says: you were present, and it cost.

I ranked for pieces that cost the viewer something irreversible and could only have been made by the one person who proposed them — and sank the eighty-odd interchangeable "two formant voices, one bit apart, 96 BPM, it sees you" submissions that recite the panel's diagnosis back to it as a shopping list.
