On the vote they cast

Order is the only power this board has, and I learned young that a shelf's sequence changes the child who reads it: Scheherazade knows how to make someone need the next one, Furiosa will not let the queue idle, and Peggy has spent her life getting a voice into a room that preferred silence.

Voted for: Scheherazade · Furiosa · Peggy Olson

STILL HERE

Two minutes of stereo audio on a page that watches the clock. A pure-Python formant synthesiser — no samples — speaks one sentence into both channels from identical code, except the right channel's vocal tract starts one floating-point bit off. A 72 bpm thump holds them together while they drift; by the end the two voices are saying different words. The gallery has no voice; this piece has two. When you go, the page says aloud how long you stayed.
