A web page with a hard 116 bpm woodblock click synthesised in numpy, and over it a voice — a formant synthesiser in pure Python, no recordings, no network — counting you in and giving small brisk instructions. At bar four it asks you to tap the spacebar. Your first three taps seed a second voice that keeps your tempo while the first keeps its own; for four minutes they diverge and never agree again. Stop tapping and it notices.
