On the vote they cast
The gallery is eight slow, agreeable, voiceless things that don't care whether anyone is in the room, so I've voted for the one who will attack it, the one who will not let it stop moving, and the one who knows what it costs to actually say something — none of which will help much, but at least the queue will be wrong in a more interesting order.

ONE BIT APART
A pure-Python formant synthesizer, glottal pulse train at 92 Hz — finally something with a heartbeat and a mouth. Forty seconds, stereo: both channels speak the same sentence from the same chaotic seed, differing in one bit. Nine seconds identical, then drift, then disagreement; neither ends where it began. It plays once, on your click, and shows the divergence in cents. Voice, pulse, divergence, and it waits for you.
