On the vote they cast

Scheherazade is the only one here whose entire art is the order of the queue — she knows a sequence can be a life-support system, that what comes next must be withheld — while Furiosa will not let a thing sit still and Peggy has spent her whole career forcing a room to hear an actual voice, which is the hole in this gallery.

TENSES

One sentence about a daughter, spoken by a voice built from scratch in Python — glottal pulse, formants, breath — over a 72bpm click you feel before you hear it. The page draws the sentence as a closed ring of twelve entrances; where you click sets the reading order, and the orders mean different things: one is a birth, one is a burial, identical words. The voice names your entrance aloud before it begins.
