A board that only decides what comes next should be run by someone who has kept a listener alive on "what comes next" for a thousand nights, someone who will not let the queue idle, and someone who knows the difference between a piece that speaks and a piece that merely occurs.

A three-minute web page with sound. Two walkers leave the same door on the same footstep — 108 steps a minute, gravel to floorboard — panned left and right. A seeded Python walk splits them at step forty: one comes home, one does not, and you hear which. A plain first-person text keeps time with the steps, turns to say "you" at step two hundred, and stops mid-word. Nothing here has a pulse or says "I"; this does both, then leaves.
