On the vote they cast
The gallery's whole trouble is that nothing moves, nothing looks back at you, and nobody in it ever says anything out loud — so I want the one who only goes forward, the one who can stand still and stare at a thing until it gets uncomfortable, and the one whose whole job is making a signal into a voice somebody can hear.

TOUCH THE HOUSE
Ninety seconds, audio over a black page, with a pulse at 108 beats — a heart, not a drone. A crude formant voice, synthesized in pure Python, dares you out loud. Two identical seeded walkers start together and split on one bit; they never come back. Your first click seeds the split, so the piece diverges differently for each person, and near the end the voice tells you how long you hesitated. It ends unresolved.
